Purpose: GPA represents a student’s average grades for a specific term, while cumulative GPA averages all grades across multiple terms, providing an overall academic performance.

Configuring GPA

1. Navigate to Administration > Performance > GPA page

2. Click on the Add button

3. Fill in the fields

4. Click Save

5. There will be a successful message showing that GPA is configured

Configuring Cumulative GPA

• Please note that you need to configure the education grade GPA first before configuring the education grade cumulative GPA

1. Navigate to Administration > Performance > GPA page

2. Click on the Cumulative GPA tab

3. Click on the Add button

4. Fill in the fields 

5. Click on the Save button

6. There will be a successful message showing that cumulative GPA is configured

Generating GPA 

• Please note that you need to configure the GPA and enter assessment marks to generate the GPA

1. Navigate to Institutions > Performance > GPA page

2. Select the Education Grade, Institution Class and GPA Name

3. There are 2 options to generate GPA – generate individual and generate all

4. Once done clicking on either generate individual or generate all, there will be a successful message indicating that GPA is generated

Generating Cumulative GPA

• Please note that you need to configure the GPA, enter assessment marks, and generate the GPA in order to calculate the cumulative GPA

1. Navigate to Institutions > Performance > GPA page

2. Select the Cumulative GPA tab

3. Select the Academic Period, Education Grade and Institution Class 

4. There are 2 options to generate cumulative GPA – generate individual and generate all

5. Once done clicking on either generate individual or generate all, there will be a successful message indicating that GPA is generated
